Group therapy in San Antonio, TX

Connect, Learn, and Grow Together

Sometimes it helps to be around people who get it.

Therapy groups at Monarch Behavioral Health offer a supportive space to connect with others, build practical skills, and work through challenges together. Groups are led by members of our clinical team and are designed around specific ages, needs, and goals.

Our group offerings change throughout the year, with new groups added based on the needs of our clients and community. Check out what’s coming up below, or give our front office a call to ask about current and future groups.

Current and Upcoming Groups

Find a group that feels like the right fit.

Teen Girls' Self-Esteem

Being a teenage girl comes with a lot to navigate. Friendships, school, social media, changing expectations, and the pressure to fit in can all have an impact on how teens see themselves.

Teen Social Skills

Social situations can be complicated, especially during the teen years. A text gets taken the wrong way. A friendship changes. Someone wants to say no but doesn’t know how. Or social anxiety makes even a simple conversation feel like a lot.

What Group Therapy Can Offer

There’s something different about learning alongside people who are working through some of the same things you are.

Depending on the focus of the group, participants have opportunities to share experiences, hear different perspectives, practice new skills, and build confidence using those skills with others.

For teens especially, groups can provide a chance to realize, “I’m not the only one who feels this way.”

Group therapy may be used on its own or alongside individual counseling. You do not need to be a current Monarch client to ask about one of our groups.

Connection. Feel less alone and more understood.

Practice. Work on new skills with others in a safe space.

Confidence. Build skills for real life.
