San Antonio Therapists & Counselors

Meet the Team

Leah Salazar Resendez, M.S., LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Leah Salazar Resendez is a bilingual counselor who works with adolescents and adults who want to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and feel more confident in who they are. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, grief, ADHD-related challenges, and significant life transitions.

Leah understands that asking for support can be difficult, and change starts with taking the next step. Leah helps clients develop practical tools for managing emotions, navigating challenges, strengthening relationships, and making choices that align with their values.

Leah supports military personnel, first responders, and individuals navigating career or life transitions. She also has experience with eating-related concerns, substance use concerns, family dynamics, self-esteem, work-related stress, and the emotional impact of chronic health conditions. When desired by the client, Leah can incorporate a faith-based perspective and explore religious and/or spiritual values as part of the client’s healing process.

At the heart of Leah’s work is hope. Therapy can be a place to reconnect with what matters, recognize your strengths, and discover what is possible from where you are today.

Outside of the therapy room, Leah is always up for a good cup of coffee, Dodger baseball, a beach weekend with friends, or her mother’s pot roast.
