Teen Social Skills Group

Real-Life Skills for Friendships, Communication & Confidence

Social situations can be complicated, especially during the teen years. A text gets taken the wrong way. A friendship changes. Someone wants to say no but doesn’t know how. Or social anxiety makes even a simple conversation feel like a lot.

Our Teen Social Skills Group gives teens ages 13–16 a supportive, low-pressure place to work through those everyday situations alongside their peers.

This six-week group focuses on practical skills teens can actually use at school, online, with friends, and in everyday life, including:

  • Texting, tone, and misunderstandings
  • Starting and maintaining conversations
  • Setting boundaries and saying “no”
  • Managing social anxiety and an empty “social battery”
  • Handling friend drama, gossip, and conflict
  • Communicating needs confidently
  • Advocating for yourself
  • Navigating misunderstandings
  • Building and maintaining healthier friendships

The group welcomes different personalities, communication styles, and neurotypes. Teens can participate at their own comfort level while learning and practicing alongside others.
