5 Daily Mindfulness Practices

We all struggle with staying mindful. For some, it's harder than others. It’s important to

remember our day-to-day activities offer ample opportunities to be mindful.  Working these

simple practices in your day will breathe space into your routines.

Start Your Day With A Purpose: Ask yourself: “What is my intention for today?” and “How might I show up today to have the best impact?

Enjoy Each and Every Bite: Be sure to listen to your body and eat according to hunger. Practicing peaceful eating can be a powerful tool!

Practice Mindful Pauses: Take mindful pauses to think about your current patterns and routines. Be intentional in making positive changes in your life. Create new patterns based on what brings you joy and on what betters your mind and body.

Mindful Driving: While heavy traffic and impatient road-ragers can trigger a fight or flight reaction, it's important to keep calm, take a deep breath, and remember that everyone’s on their own journey. Some things are outside of our control.

Use Your Muscles: Riding a bike, lifting weights, sweating it out on a treadmill—what do these exercises have in common? Each can be a mindfulness practice!
