MBH clinicians and therapists are passionate about new evidence-based and informed treatment approaches, specialty training, collaborating with colleagues, and assisting in transformational change within our clients. 

Our positions are fee-for-service and you would be joining our private group practice which opens doors for consultation, training, and learning among colleagues. As a professional counselor, you will be working directly with your ideal client, the client population of your choosing, and a schedule that fits your needs. One year of post-internship experience is preferred.

  • We are looking for clinicians whose strengths include:

    • Experience working with children/adolescents (ages 3 and up) and their families using evidence-based interventions including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training, Child-Centered Therapy, Adlerian, Theraplay, ERP, DBT, & evidence-based play therapy techniques.

    • Therapists certified / trained using DBT, ACT, and EMDR modalities.

    • Testing clinicians

      • Treatment planning and diagnostic knowledge

      • Maintaining a caseload and keeping accurate session notes.

      • Attending staff meetings.

      • Enriching our environment and culture.

      • Willingness to collaborate with team members & our community

  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate competency in utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

    • Specialty training is encouraged.

    • Provide services within the highest standard of professional ethics and sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity

    • Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and team members

    • Excellent interpersonal skills including assertive communication

Required Qualifications

A Masters or Doctorate from a nationally accredited program is required. We also require a current Texas license or license eligible in the next 2 to 4 months in Texas (licensed psychologist, LMFT, LPC, LMSW, LCSW). Therapists must also have availability for at least 20 client hours/week. Applicants must have demonstrated specialty in children and parenting, adolescents, adults, and psychosocial issues such as work/life balance, stress management, depression, relationship issues, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and life transitions.
