Healthy Sleep Habits

Did you know that sleep aids our recovery from both mental and physical exertion?  Or that sleep deprivation can increase the risk of illness?

Sleep deprivation can make it difficult for the brain to think coherently and even manage emotions. Sleep deprivation has been linked to poor performance at work and school, as well as psychological difficulties such as anger and sadness, according to research. It's best to practice good sleeping habits as much as possible, and to teach our children to do the same. Starting by setting a good example is a great way to go!

What’s something that you’ve incorporated into your daily sleep routine that you really enjoy? Tell us in the comments below!
