What is OCD?

You’ve probably heard this term thrown around a lot over the past few years, but it’s important to know that OCD is a lot more than just a preference toward organization or order. OCD is often triggered by the debilitating fear that if certain tasks are not completed in a certain way, or at a certain time, that something is likely to happen.

In order for a diagnosis of obsessive compulsive disorder to be made, this cycle of obsessions and compulsions must become so extreme that it consumes a lot of time and gets in the way of important activities that the person values.

If you, your child, or another loved one is struggling with OCD or OCD like behavior, we can help.
