Bonnie Valles, MSW, LMSW

Bonnie has a masters degree in Social Work, specializing in Mental Health from the University of Washington.  She is a Veteran (Combat Veteran), who served 12 years in the US Navy.

Bonnie is well versed in mental health and substance abuse giving her the experience to work in a dual diagnosis environment. Her experience is diverse in many areas to include, working with Veterans, children/adolescents, school settings, families, and couples, as well as with the courts as a Liaison and an evaluator.

Her areas of specialty include working with complex trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, and suicidal ideation. Her therapeutic approach is flexible and intuitive and she enjoys working with clients that have faced emotional, traumatic, and/or distressing events, and helping them navigate life transitions through healing and, when desired, with the aid of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  Learn more about EMDR services here.

Bonnie truly believes that the strongest indicator of successful psychotherapy is the connection between counselor and client, so her goal is to develop a genuine meaningful rapport with all her clients.
