Julia Best, MSW, Licensed Master Social Worker
Julia is a compassionate and attuned clinician who is deeply committed to walking alongside individuals on their path to self-discovery and healing. She believes in the transformative power of understanding one’s story, especially when held through a lens of authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. Her work is rooted in the belief that therapy should be a collaborative process, grounded in trust, transparency, and emotional safety.
Julia’s clinical approach integrates Attachment-Based Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed care to support clients in making sense of their experiences and reclaiming a sense of inner balance. With specialized training and a keen understanding of relational dynamics, she helps individuals explore the origins of emotional patterns and gently shift long-held beliefs that no longer serve them.
Julia has a special passion for working with women during the prenatal and postpartum periods, offering thoughtful and individualized support as they navigate the profound changes, challenges, and vulnerabilities that come with motherhood. Whether addressing birth trauma, identity transitions, anxiety, or mood concerns, she creates a nonjudgmental space for new and expectant mothers to feel seen, held, and empowered.
Known for her grounded presence and thoughtful clinical insight, Julia strives to equip her clients with practical tools and deeper emotional awareness. Her ultimate goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely understood and supported in creating meaningful, lasting change.
