National Depression Screening Day

It is estimated that roughly 40 million people  in America struggle with depression or anxiety.

National Depression Screening Day is held annually on October 7th.  When sadness becomes intense and includes feelings of being helpless, hopeless, or worthless, sadness is likely to turn into depression. Depression is a medical condition that is diagnosed based on a person's symptoms.
