National Stress Awareness Month

Feeling Stressed?

Although National Stress Awareness month has been recognized across the country for the last few decades, this year is particularly important as we continue to navigate these uncertain times. Learning to cope with stress and find healthy ways to deal with these types of situations can be completely life-changing.

Not only can stress have debilitating effects on your mental health, it can also aggravate existing physical health problems. While some stress is normal, it’s important to arm yourself with the  knowledge and tools necessary to recognize stress and work to alleviate it.

Maybe people are now experiencing more stress than ever before due to the circumstances surrounding the global pandemic. Although stress relief is not a “one size fits all”, here are a few things you can try:

  • Get Proper Amounts of Sleep

  • Meditate and evaluate your priorities

  • Physical Exercise

  • Keep an Organized Task List

  • Seek out Support
