Phobias and Fears

Phobias and fears...

The difference is that for a phobic child, there is no “on-off” switch for the fear: It’s ever-present and so extreme that it interferes with the ability to relax, concentrate and enjoy activities.

Common Phobias - animals, blood, the dark, enclosed spaces, flying, getting sick, having a parent, sibling, or pet get sick or hurt, heights, insects and spiders, thunder & lightning.

Many kids struggle with a specific fear of being physically separated from their caregivers or family members.

We provide therapy services to help a person overcome these challenges and testing services to help distinguish between anxiety and specific phobias.
