Sleep Habits

Sleeping is what helps us to recover from mental and physical exertion. Poor sleep habits can increase the risk of poor health.

Lack of proper sleep can hinder the brain from thinking clearly and can even make it harder to manage emotions. Studies have shown that a lack of proper sleep can hurt performance at work, and in school, as well as lead to issues with mood such as irritability and depression. It’s best to practice proper sleep habits as often as possible and to encourage our children to do the same. Leading by example is an excellent way to start!

What’s something that you’ve incorporated into your daily sleep routine that you really enjoy? Tell us in the comments below!
