Why Depression Is So Common

Depression is one of the most common mental health conditions in the U.S., and rates are increasing for both adults and teens. Stress at work or school, family pressures, major life transitions, or global events like the pandemic can all play a role.

For kids and teens, depression can make it even harder to keep up with school, friendships, and self-esteem. For adults, it often shows up as burnout, withdrawal, or loss of motivation. Whatever your situation, you deserve relief and support.

Frequently Asked Questions

If your worry, stress, or physical symptoms interfere with daily life, therapy can help you feel more in control.

We understand that therapy can be expensive. In order to alleviate the financial burden as much as possible, our office accepts most insurance and commercial medicaid plans. We can also provide you with a bill for you to submit to your insurance company. If we are not covered by your insurance, we do have private pay and sliding scale payment options. Living with anxiety can be expensive, so we try our best to make it possible for you to invest in treatment.

Life is busy, and we want therapy to fit into your reality. That’s why we have clinicians available every day of the week—including weekends—and offer both in-person and virtual appointments. Carving out time for therapy now can help you regain time and energy in other areas of life as you learn skills to reduce anxiety.

If you’re not ready right now, that’s okay. It can be difficult to talk about anxiety, and we want you to go at a pace that you’re comfortable with. Our therapists will be here to support you when you’re ready. There is no pressure to share your struggles right away.

It depends on your goals and progress, but we create a personalized plan with measurable steps for growth and healing.
