Holiday Stress Management
Even though the holiday season is meant to bring us peace and joy,it often brings on its own level of stress..Between visiting family, preparing food, and gift shopping- it’s enough to make your head spin. Here are a few things you can do to manage holiday stress.
Plan for and allow for downtime
Avoid overscheduling by being realistic with your time and putting things on the calendar so that you have a clear idea of what you have planned already.
Be present and in the moment. It’s the little moments that matter most, you don’t want to miss them.
Practice generosity and gratitude. These can help you to feel more grounded and appreativing for what you already have.
Be intentional with your time ( for both relaxing and events).
Stick to your budget. Don’t let others influence your spending. It’s okay to say ‘no’.
