Recognizing Anxiety in Children

Most children won’t have the words or the self reflection skills to communicate to you that they are experiencing anxiety. It’s important to be able to recognize the signs of anxiety in children.  Understanding the root of that anxiety but also teaching them the coping skills they will need to handle these feelings as they get older is super important.

Anxiety in children can look like trouble focusing, sudden outburst of emotions, trouble sleeping, loss of appetite, stomach pains, general moodiness, and more.

If you or your child is struggling with anxiety, we can help.
